Born; (sub- stantively) A son, a child; as, آدمي زاد ādmī-zād, A man, born of man; پري زاد parī-zād, Born of an angel or fairy, a beautiful woman; شـﮩزاده shah-zāda, A prince; شـﮩزادي shah-zādī, A princess. زاد بوم zād- būm, Native land, native place.
