رسانا risānā S̱. (r. रुष Be angry) v. n. To be dis- pleased, to be angry, to be vexed.

رؤف raʼuf A (from رأف) adj. Merciful, forgiving.

روٴين roʼeṅ S̱. (plur. of روان roʼāṅ, q. v.) s. f. The hair on the arms, &c. bristle, pile, nap, down. روٴين بدلنا roʼeṅ-badalnā, To become sleek and fat (a horse), to change his coat.

رخش raḵẖsh P s. m. 1. A horse, a famous horse of Rustam. 2. Splendour, the rays or reflec- tion of light.

رقمي raḳam-ī A. adj. Written, marked.

رهٿا rahṭā H s. m. A spinning wheel.

رٿ گهٿ raṭ ghaṭ H s. m. (dakh.) Labour and pains, toil and trouble.

رطب rat̤b A (Heb. ) adj. Moist, green, fresh, tender, verdant. ¶ rut̤b, s. m. Green herbage or tree. ¶ rut̤ab, Ripe dates. رطب اللسان rat̤bu-l-lisān, Celebrated, frequently mentioned (with praise).

رولنا rolnā H v. a. 1. To roll, to plane, to polish, to smooth. 2. To select, to pick. Saudā says: که جسکي خاک سي ليتي تهي خلق موتي رول Kijisḳī ḵẖāk se letī thī ḵẖalḳ motī rol, From the earth of which people picked out pearls.
