رينچهـ rīṅchh S̱. (or dakh. رينچ rīṅch) s. m. A bear. See ريچهـ rīchh.

رم ram P (or a. ramm) s. m. Flight, elopement. رم خور ram-ḵẖụr, Taking to flight. رم خورده ram-ḵẖụrda, Taken to flight. رم رهنا ram rahnā, To elope, to remain concealed. رم کرنا ram karnā, To flee, to fly or run away.

رندا randā P. (from رنديدن To polish) s. m. A plane (for smoothing wood).

روده roda P s. m. A gut, intestine.

راڙ rāṛ H s. f. Wrangling, quarrel, fray.

ريزه reza P s. m. 1. A scrap, piece, bit. 2. Small coin (as, four-rupee-pieces, &c.). 3. A kind of cock. 4. Children employed in mason- work, &c. who receive half, one third, &c. of a manʼs pay. ريزه چين reza-chīn, adj. Picker up of scraps. ريزه چيني reza-chīn-ī, s. f. Picking up of scraps. ريزه خط reza-ḵẖat̤t̤, Fine striped, thin-lined. ريزه ريزه reza reza, 1. s. m. Scraps, pieces. 2. adj. In pieces, broken in pieces, small.

راستي rāst-ī P s. f. Honesty, probity, uprightness, veracity, truth, fidelity, justice, loyalty, can- dour, sincerity, rectitude, straightness, justness.

رنگترا rangtarā P. s. m. A kind of orange. (This name was given by Muhammad Shāh).

رمدوپهٿو ramdū phaṭṭū H Populace, the vulgar. (Compound. of two names peculiar to the lowest ranks; as, in English, Tom, Dick, and Harry; or Tag, Rag, and Bobtail).

رياضت riyāẓat A (from راض Heb. To exer- cise, to tame, to run) s. f. Abstinence, austerity, abstemiousness. (Plur. رياضات).
