روبراه rū-ba-rāh P adj. 1. Setting out; fit for business, adjusted, prepared. 2. Reformed, returned from an erroneous course.

رفو rafū A s. m. Darning, a darn. See رفا rafā. رفوچکر rafū-chakkar, Making oneʼs escape, stealing off. رفوچکرمين آجانا rafū chakkar meṅ ā-jānā, To be lost in astonishment. رفوکرنا rafū karnā, To darn. رفوگر rafū-gar, s. m. A darner. رفوگري rafū-gar-ī, s. f. The employ- ment of darning. رفوهونا rafū honā, To run away, to retire.

رأي rāʼe A s. f. Wisdom, opinion, thought, no- tion, counsel.

رانجها rānjhā S̱. (रंजन) s. m. A sweet- heart: Leander, the lover of Hero (who is called in Hindī Hīr).

روزينه roz-īna P s. m. Daily pay. روزينه دار rozīna-dār, s. m. One who receives daily wages.

رسوخ rusūḵẖ A (from رسخ) s. m. Firmness, constancy.

رينڐي renḍī एरण्ड S̱. s. f. Palma christi (Ricinus vulgaris). رينڐي کا تيل renḍī kā tel, s. m. Castor-oil.

رديف radīf A (from ردف Heb. To follow) 1. s. m. A man riding behind another on the same horse. 2. s. f. The rhyming word of a poem. See under قافيه ḳāfiya.

راندهنا rāndhnā S̱. (रंधन r. रध Mature, ripen) v. a. To cook, to dress food.
