دول duwal A or diwal or dawal, s. plur. of دولت daulat, q. v. Riches, wealth, &c.

دقيقه daḳīḳa A s. m. 1. A minute, a moment of time. 2. Any thing small, a particle, a subtile question, a trifling business.

درکنار dar-kinār P adv. On one side, apart, out of the way, aside; (put it) aside. S. درگ दृग् (r. दृश See) drig, s. m. The eye. دهمک dhamak H (from دهمکنا) s. f. (dakh. s. m.) 1. Noise of footsteps over-head, thumping, &c. 2. Threat, threatening, awe.

ديـﮩـي dīh-ī P adj. Rustick, rural. ڐ ڐ Is written thus to denote the Nāgarī ड, which is the twenty-ninth letter of the Sanskrit al- phabet, and has no corresponding sound or cha- racter in the Arabic or Persian language. It is pronounced by applying the tip of the tongue inverted to the palate. It is sometimes used for د and vice versa, as डंड for दंड.
