دهانويا dhāṅwaiyā S̱. (from دهان for धान्य Rice) s. m. A thrasher.

Tenfold (a word with which they return a salutation). ده در دنيا ستردرآخرت dah dar dunyā sattar dar āḵẖirat, A benediction of faḳīrs, meaning, charity will be returned sevenfold in the next world. (It is probably a corrupt. of Pers. phrase, Dah dar dunyā ṣad dar āḵẖirat, Ten in this world, a hundred in the next). ده دله dah-dil-a, adj. 1. Faithless, inconstant. 2. Brave, bold. ده روزه dah-roz-a, A ten days, a decade. ده مني dah-mann-ī, adj. Holding ten mann. ده يک dah-yak or ده يکي dah-yakī, Tenth part.

دودهـ dūdh S̱. (दुग्ध r. दुह Milk) s. m. 1. Milk. 2. The juice (or milk) of certain bushes. دودهـ آدهاري dūdh-ādhārī (दुग्धाहारी) adj. Living on milk. دوده بڙهنا dūdh baṛhnā, v. n. To be weaned (a child). دودهـ يهاٴي dūdh-bhāʼī, s. m. A fosterbrother. دودهـ پلانا dūdh-pilānā, To suckle. دودهـ پلاٴي dūdh-pilāʼī, s. f. A wet nurse. دودهـ هنڐي dūdh-hanḍī, s. f. A vessel for holding milk, a milkpan.
