دابنا dābnā H (trans. of دبنا) v. a. 1. To press down, to suppress, to snub. 2. To squeeze. داب رکهنا dāb rakhnā, 1. Toconceal, to steal and conceal. 2. To press (particularly, with the thighs), to retain by pressure, to gripe (as, money). داب لينا dāb lenā, To outgrow.

To chatter the teeth, to squabble, wrangle, chattering of the teeth, squabbling, wrangling, spar- ring. دانت پتهرپوگهسنا dānt patthar po ghisnā (dakh. i. q. هوس کرنا) To desire, to covet (?). دانت پرچڙهانا dānt par chaṛhānā, To detract from the virtues or praise of another. دانت پيسنا dānt pīsnā, To gnash the teeth, to grin. دانت تلي انگلي دبانا يا کاٿنا dānt tale unglī-da- bānā or -kāṭnā, To stand in amaze, to be amazed, to wonder. دانت رکهنا يا هونا کسي پر dānt-rakhnā or -honā kisī par, 1.
