دباغ dabbāg̠ẖ A (adj. superl. of دبغ He tanned) s. m. A currier, a tanner.

دهڙا dhaṛā H s. m. 1. A party. 2. A weight. دهڙا باندهنا dhaṛā bāndhnā, To make up a standard to weigh by, with bricks or any thing else; as, by having one weight (of a pound, suppose) it is doubled, quadrupled, and so on, till the weight requisite is obtained.

دعويٰ daﻌwạ̄ A s. m. 1. A lawsuit. 2. Claim, pretension, plaint, ac- cusation, action at law. دعوي دار daﻌwạ̄ or daﻌwī-dār, A plaintiff, a claimant, pretender. دعويٰ کرنا daﻌwạ̄ karnā, To claim, make claim on, accuse.
