خوب ḵẖūb : خوب ḵẖūb P adj. Good, excellent, well, beauti- ful, pleasant, amiable. خوبرو ḵẖūb-rū or خوب روي ḵẖūb-rūʼe (plur. خوب رويان) or خوب صورت ḵẖūb-ṣūrat, adj. Beautiful, a beauty. خوبروي ḵẖūb-rū-ī or خوب صورتي ḵẖūb-ṣūrat-ī, s. f. Beauty, handsomeness. (Plur. خوبان ḵẖūbān, The fair, the beautiful).

خجلت ḵẖijlat A (proper. ḵẖajlat) s. f. Blush, shame, &c. see خجالت ḵẖijālat. خجلت اٿهاني يا کهاني ḵẖijlat-uṭhānī or -ḵẖānī, To blush.

خفت ḵẖiffat A s. f. Lightness of weight, levity of conduct, want of dignity, affront, indignity, slight, disgrace. خفت کرنا ḵẖiffat karnā, To vilify, to slander, affront.

خوشتر ḵẖụsh-tar P adj. compar. More pleasant, very pleasant, &c.

خن ḵẖinn A s. m. The hold of a ship.

خانمان ḵẖānmān P s. m. Household-furniture, domestick, every thing belonging to the house,

خس ḵẖass A s. A lettuce.
