A servant who, in a great manʼs retinue, carries a firelock. خاص خواص ḵẖāṣṣ-ḵẖaẉāṣṣ, A royal female servant. خاصدان ḵẖāṣṣ-dān, A kind of canteen to carry water-vessels in. خاص محل ḵẖāṣṣ-maḥal, s. m. Private apartment, the apartments of married women (in opposition to ḵẖụrd-maḥal); met. First married wife. خاص وعام ḵẖāṣṣ o āﻌmm, Noble and plebeian.

خليطه ḵẖalīt̤a A. s. m. Corrupt. of خريطه q. v. خليطه طوفان ḵẖalīta-e-t̤ūfān, An exciter of distur- bance, calumniator, wicked person.

خس ḵẖass A s. A lettuce.
