خالا ḵẖālā A. (properly, خاله) s. f. Maternal aunt, motherʼs sister. خالا کا يا خالا ماما کا گهريا خانهٴخالا ḵẖālā kā- or ḵẖālā māmā kā-ghar, or ḵẖāna-i-ḵẖālā (lit. The house of oneʼs aunt) signifies a place of rest and security. A. H. خالاتي ḵẖālā-tī, adj. Descended from or re- lated to a maternal aunt; as, خالاتي بهاٴي ḵẖālā- tī bhāʼī, A cousin, son of a maternal aunt.

خورنق ḵẖawarnaḳ A n. prop. A very lofty palace, which Nuﻌmān son of Munẕir built for Bahrām Gor, king of Persia.

خوني ḵẖūn-ī P s. m. f. Murderer. adj. Sangui- nary, bloody, relating to murder or blood.

خستک ḵẖistak P. (for خشتک) s. f. Codpiece.

خوردن ḵẖụrdan P s. 1. Eating, drinking, devouring. 2. Suffering.

خطي ḵẖat̤t̤-ī A adj. 1. Linear, in writing, of the beard, &c. 2. or ḵẖit̤t̤ī, Of ḵẖat̤t̤ or ḵẖit̤t̤ (spears, so named from the place where they were bought).

خراٿا ḵẖarrāṭā H s. m. Snoring. خراٿا مارنا ḵẖarrāṭā mārnā, To snore.

خشم ḵẖashm P s. m. Anger, passion, rage, fury. خشم آلود ḵẖashm-ālūd, adj. Deformed with rage. خشمگين ḵẖashm-gīn or خشمناک ḵẖashm-nāk, adj. Enraged, passionate, angry, rageful. خشمگيني ḵẖashm-gīn-ī, s. f. Passionateness, rage.
