خواهش ḵẖẉāhish P (from خواستن) s. f. 1. Desire,

خرمي ḵẖurram-ī P s. f. Cheerfulness, pleasure, delight, gladness, gayety, mirth. P. A. خرنفس ḵẖar-nafs, adj. Magnum penem habens.

Place of thorns, thistles, &c. خارکش ḵẖār-kash, A woodcutter. خاروخس ḵẖār-o-ḵẖas, Sweepings, any thing vile.

خميدني ḵẖamīdan-ī P adj. To be bent.

خراج ḵẖirāj A (properly ḵẖarāj, from خرج) s. m. Tax, duty, rent, revenue, tribute. خراج گذار ḵẖirāj-guẕār, A tributary. خراج لگانا ḵẖirāj la- gānā, To tax, to assess.

خجالت ḵẖijālat A s. f. Bashfulness, shame.

خارج ḵẖārij A (from خرج Heb. ) part. or adj. Being out, external, out, without, outcast. خارج کرنا ḵẖārij karnā, To exclude, expel, dispossess.

خسروي ḵẖusrawī P adj. Belonging to ḵẖusrau or to a king, royal, imperial, regal.

خول ḵẖol S̱. (for کهول q. v.) s. m. A case, sheath, hollow.
