اراده irāda A s. m. (inf. iv. of رود) Desire, inclination, wish, pur- pose, design, plan, intention, meaning. اراده کرنا irādā karnā, To form a design, to make an attempt, to design, intend or purpose.

اصحاب aṣʼḥāb A s. plur. (of صاحب) Lords, mas- ters, grandees, companions, friends, apostles. (In composition the word signifies) Possessed of; as اصحاب علم aṣʼḥāb-i-iﻌlm, Learned men, &c.

اصفیا aṣfiyā A s. plur. (of صفي) The pure, the just, the saints.

املاک amlāk A s. f. plur. (of ملک q. v.) Pos- sessions, properties (generally applied to land).

اپرچها a-parichchhā S̱. (अ and परीक्षा Trial, or- deal) s. f. Want of trial or proof.

آب بازي āb-bāzī P s. f. Play or sport in water; swimming.

اتجوگ ati-jog अतियोग्य S̱. adj. Very worthy.

اغلام ig̠ẖlām A (inf. iv. of غلم) s. m. 1. Inflaming with desire, provoking to venery. 2. So- domy.

آناکاتي ānākānī S̱. (अनाकर्णन from अन् and r. आकर्ण Listen to) s. f. Turning a deaf ear, overlooking, winking at, purposely neglecting.

ابخل abḵẖal A adj. compar. (of بخیل) More, most or very covetous.
