چمکاهٿ chamkāhaṭ H s. f. Glitter, splendour, brilliancy, flourish, brightness, much light.

چٿ chaṭ H 1. (Sans. झटिति) adv. Quickly, instantly. 2. s. f. An excoriation, a sore, scab, chancre. 3. The noise of breaking, snap. چٿ بهسم chaṭ-bhasam, Eating up the whole, licking the platter clean. چٿ دي ٿوٿنا chaṭ de ṭūṭnā, To snap short, to break. چٿ کرنا chaṭ karnā, To eat, dissipate, make waste. چٿ هونا chaṭ honā, v. n. چونا chūnā S̱. 1. (च्यवन from r. च्यु Go) v. n. To leak, distil, drop, to be filtered, to ooze, to exude. 2. To drop from the tree when ripe (fruit). 3. (चूर्ण) s. m. Lime. چونا پزني chūnā-paznī, s. f. A dancing girl. چونا لگانا chūnā lagānā, To defame.

چيستان chīstān P s. m. An enigma, a riddle.

چمبک चुम्बक chumbak S s. m. 1. A load- stone. 2. Extract (from a book, &c.).

چهلـﮩ‍لا chhuluhlā H adj. Boyish, puerile.

چوا choʼā H or chowā, s. m. 1. The name of a perfume. 2. The pod or skin of any kind of pulse. 3. A windfall (fruit).
