چترنگي chitraṅgī S̱. adj. (dakh. i. q. هفت رنگي) Artful, cunning, versatile, of various colours (?).

چدر chaddar P. (corrupt. of چادر) s. f. A sheet, a tablecloth, a cloth of more than one breadth. چدربچهانا chaddar bichhānā, To lay the cloth.

چوپـﮩ‍لا chau-pahlā H s. m. A kind of sedan. See چوپالا chau-pālā.

چهوٿا chhoṭā क्षुद्र S̱. adj. Little, small, less, younger, junior, least, &c. چهوٿا بڙا chhoṭā baṛā, adj. Varied, variegated, various, great and small, high and low.

چوداني chaudānī S̱. P. s. f. (چو Four, and دانه Grain) An ornament (formed of four pearls) worn in the ear.

چبانا chabānā चर्वण S̱. v. a. To chew, gnaw, champ, masticate, bite (the lip). چبا چباکي بات کرني chabā chabāke bāt karnī, To speak with study or preparation; also, without reserve, or haughtily and scornfully.

چهاندنا chhāndnā H v. a. To tether, to fasten, to tie, to bind.

چيني chīn-ī P adj. Belonging to, or produced in China. (Sans. चीनीय).

چوسر chausar S̱. s. m. Name of a game or what the game is played on. See چونسر chauṅsar.

چپن chappan H s. m. A lid or cover of a pot (large).
