چهونا chhūnā H v. a. To touch, to meddle with, to feel.

چلو chullū चुलुक S̱. s. m. A handful, the palm of the hand contracted so as to hold water. چلوبهرپاني مين ڐوب مرنا chullū bhar pānī meṅ ḍūb marnā (lit. To drown oneʼs self in a handful of water) To be greatly abashed: see چپني بهرپاني مين ڐوب مرنا chapnī bhar pānī meṅ ḍūb marnā. چلوچلوسادهنا chullū chullū sādhnā, To get a habit of drinking by gradual increase. چلومين الوهونا chullū meṅ ullū honā, To be in- toxicated with a mouthful.

چماٴي chamāʼī H adj. Copper-coloured.

چلان chalān S̱. (see چلانا chalānā) s. f. 1. Clear- ance. 2. Remittance.

چينهون chīnnhauṅ S̱. v. a. To know, to recognise.

چهچهڙي chhachhaṛī H s. f. The root of a certain tree (of the phapond).
