چگلنا chagalnā H v. a. To eat without appetite.

چٿابٿا chaṭṭā-baṭṭā H s. m. The name of a play- thing, a kind of rattle or clapper given to chil- dren.

چهيا chhaiyā H s. m. A boy.

چکئي chakaʼī S̱. s. f. 1. (चक्र) The name of a plaything, a whirligig. 2. (चक्रवाकी) The female of چکوا chakwā, q. v. the Brahmany duck.

چودهر chaudhar H adj. Robust, active, vigorous, corpulent.

چکتي chaktī S̱. (from चक्र A circle) s. f. 1. The hide of a rhinoceros (of which shields are made). 2. A patch of leather, a slice, com- pressed, flattened, a patch, the round of a cheese. 3. A round plate of metal, &c.

چکاوک chakāwak P s. m. 1. A lark. 2. An aquatick bird, said to be the same as the سرخاب surḵẖāb, q. v.

چمتکار चमत्कार chamatkār S s. m. 1. Amaze- ment, astonishment. 2. Splendour. 3. s. f. Name of a grass. 4. Haste.

چهنـﮩ‍اٴي chhaṅhā-ī S̱. (from छाया) s. f. Shadiness.

چپي chippī H s. f. A patch on paper.
