چونسٿهـ chauṅsaṭh S̱. adj. See چوسٿهـ.

چهت chhat छत्र S̱. s. f. A roof, a cloth stretched across the roof of a room, a platform. چهت بنانا پاٿنا يا لگانا chhat-banānā, -pāṭnā or -la- gānā, v. a. To ceil, to cover the inner roof of a building.

چوگهرا chau-ghar-ā चतुर्गृह S̱. s. m. A small box of gold or silver, with four partitions, for holding perfumes.

چتر chatur S adj. 1. (चतुर) Clever, cunning, sly, shrewd, wise, knowing, adroit, sagacious. 2. (चतुर्) Four.

چڙنا chiṛnā H v. n. To be vexed, to vex, to be irritated, to fret, to be provoked. ¶ chaṛnā, v. n. (dakh.) See چڙهنا chaṛhnā.

چاٿنا chāṭnā H v. a. To lick, to lap.

چونٿا chūnṭā H s. m. A large ant.

چلم chilam H s. f. The part of a ḥuḳḳa which contains the tobacco and fire.
