چڙچڙانا chaṛchaṛānā H v. n. To crack, creak. ¶ chiṛchiṛānā, See چڙچڙانا chirchirānā.

چکتي chaktī S̱. (from चक्र A circle) s. f. 1. The hide of a rhinoceros (of which shields are made). 2. A patch of leather, a slice, com- pressed, flattened, a patch, the round of a cheese. 3. A round plate of metal, &c.

چمرکهـ chamrakh चर्मक S̱. s. f. 1. The appa- ratus of a spinning-wheel. 2. (met.) A lean woman.

چپنا chapnā H v. n. 1. To be abashed, to be bash- ful in company, to blush, submit, stoop. 2. To be crushed or squeezed. ¶ chipnā (for چهپنا chhipnā, q. v.) v. n. To be concealed.

چابکي chābuk-ī P (from چابک) s. f. Activity, alertness, despatch, celerity, agility.

چهلوري chhalori H or chhilorī, s. f. A whitlow, a blister, a felon.

چرغنا churag̠ẖnā H (properly چرگنا) v. n. To prate, to prattle.
