چپڙ چپڙ chapaṛ-chapaṛ H An imitative sound of the noise of the mouth in eating.

چاليسا chālīs-ā S̱. s. m. 1. A dimness of sight which is supposed to come on at forty years of age, and often to be removed on approaching the forty-eighth or fiftieth year. 2. The for- tieth year of any era, or of the century.

چچورنا chachornā H v. a. To suck (a dry substance from which nothing can be obtained).

چرخي charḵẖī P s. f. 1. A spinning wheel. 2. The instrument with which the seed is separated from the cotton. 3. A globe. 4. A kind of fireworks, catharine-wheels. 5. A dumb-waiter.

چمچمانا chamchamānā H v. n. To tingle, to sleep, to sparkle, to shine, to glitter.

چوندهلا chondhlā H adj. Dim, purblind, dim- sighted.

چوٿي choṭī चूडा S̱. s. f. 1. A lock of hair left on the top of the head, the hair braided behind, a cue. 2. Top, summit. چوٿي کا هونا choṭī kā honā, To excel, to be pre-eminent or unrivalled. See چونٿي chonṭī.

چکريلا chakrelā चक्र S̱. adj. Round, circular.

چکنيا chikniyā S̱. s. m. Beau, spark.
