چمڙا chamṛā चर्म्म S̱. s. m. Leather, a hide, a skin. چمڙا-ادهيڙنا-چهڙانا-کهينچنا-نکالنا chamṛā- udheṛnā, -chhuṛānā, -khainchnā, or -nikālnā, To flay, to skin.

چـﮩچـﮩ‍انا chuhchuhānā H v. n. 1. To glow as a colour, to die a deep colour, blush (a flower). 2. See چـﮩچـﮩ‍انا chahchahānā. P.H. چـﮩچـﮩ‍انا chahchahānā (from چـﮩچـﮩ‍ا) v. n. To sing (as, a nightingale), to whistle, to warble (as, birds). P.H. چـﮩچـﮩ‍اهٿ chahchahāhaṭ (from چـﮩچـﮩ‍انا) s. f. The singing or talking (of birds).

چلته chilta P. (for چـﮩل q. v.) s. f. A thick reduplicated coat for soldiers, a coat of mail.

چقمق chaḳmaḳ T s. f. A flint.

چرچنا charachnā S̱. (see چرچا चर्चा charchā, sig. 3.) v. a. To perfume by smearing or plastering the body with sandal-wood, &c.

چنبو chambū H s. m. A narrow-necked vessel for holding water.

چکوتره chakotara H s. m. A fruit of the lime kind, a citron. Pompelmoose, shaddock. (Citrus de- cumanus).

Giving a horse new shoes. (See کهول بندي). 2. The fastenings of baggage. چو پاره chau-pāra, adj. Four-pieced. چو پاس chau- pās, adv. All round, around. چو پـﮩل chau-pa- hal, adj. Four-sided; s. f. A square bottle. چو پـﮩلو chau-pahlū, adj. Four-sided. چوپهير chau- pher, adv. On all sides, all round. چو ته chau- tah, adj. Of four folds. چو تـﮩ‍ا chau-tah-ā, adj. Of four folds. چو جگي chau-jug-ī, adj. Of the four ages or great periods. چو دهير chau-dhīr, (dakh.) See اطراف at̤rāf. چو رس chau-ras, adv. (dakh.) On all sides, all round. چو کدهن chau-kudhan (dakh.) Four sides, (on) the four sides. چو کهوت chau-khūt (dakh.) See اطراف at̤rāf. چو گوشي chau-gosh-ī, s. f. An animal whose ears are slit (particularly, a horse. Such is generally taught to amble). چو محلا chau- maḥall-ā, adj. Of four stories (a house, &c.). چو مکهي chau-mukh-ī, adj. Four-faced, having four faces. چو ميخا chau-meḵẖ-ā, Tying the elbows behind.
