چوکا chūkā H s. m. A kind of earthen pot.

چيتهڙا chīthṛā H s. m. See چتهڙا chithṛā, Rag.

چگن chugan H s. m. A plait or fold in a gar- ment.

چنار chanār P or chinār, s. m. 1. A poplar, a plane-tree. 2. chanār, A circle stained by women on their hands and feet with ḥinnā.

چملي chamlī H s. f. A beggarʼs cup.

چنچلاهٿ chanchalāhaṭ S̱. s. f. Restlesness, un- steadiness, wantonness, fickleness.

چندر चंद्र chandar S or chandr, s. m. The moon. چندربنسي chandra-bansī, Descendant of the moon; name of a tribe of Ksh̤atriyas who claim descent from the moon. چندرکلا chandra- kalā, A digit or one sixteenth part of the moonʼs diameter. چندربدني chandra-badanī, or چندرمکهي chandra-mukh-ī, Having a counte- nance beautiful as the moon.

چکئي chakaʼī S̱. s. f. 1. (चक्र) The name of a plaything, a whirligig. 2. (चक्रवाकी) The female of چکوا chakwā, q. v. the Brahmany duck.

چپٿانا chipṭānā H (caus. of چپٿنا chipaṭnā) v. a. To sod, to turf, to apply patches, to stick.
