چه cha P a particle affixed to various Persian nouns to form diminutives; as کوچه kūcha, A little street, from کو kū: and, sometimes ي is prefixed to it; as باغيچه bāg̠ẖīcha or باغچه bāg̠ẖ- cha, A little garden, from باغ bāg̠ẖ.

چٿوانا chaṭwānā H (causal of چاٿنا) v. a. To cause to lick or lap up.

چچيرا chacherā H adj. Descended from or re- lated through a paternal uncle; as, چچيرا بهاٴي chacherā bhāʼī, s. m. A cousin, son of paternal uncle. چچيري بـﮩن chacherī bahin, Daughter of paternal uncle, a female cousin.

چهينکاو chhenkāʼo H (from چهينکنا) s. m. Se- questration of goods.

چهوڙا chhoṛā S̱. (from چهوڙنا) s. m. Release, omission, leaving, sparing, letting go.

چتنا chitnā S̱. (from चित्र) v. n. To be painted.

چيت chait चैत्र S̱. s. m. The Hindū name of the twelfth month, the full moon of which is near चित्रा chitrā; March-April.

چهلوهلا chhulohlā H adj. Puerile, finical.

چهچهلا chhichhlā H adj. Shallow.

چمٿانا chimṭānā H v. n. To adhere, to cling to.
