چرچيلا charchelā S̱. (from چرچا) s. m. A chat- terer, a prater.

چکنا chiknā S̱. (चिक्कण) adj. 1. Clean, po- lished, smooth. 2. Beautiful (persons). 3. Greasy, oily, fat (as meat), glossy, sleek, slip- pery. 4. Incontinent, lewd, wanton. چکنا باسن يا گهڙا بنا chiknā-bāsan or -ghaṛā bannā, To be incontinent, incorrigible, deaf to admonition. چکنا چاندا chiknā-chāndā (चिक्कणचंद्र) adj. Beautiful. چکني جورو chiknī jorū, s. f. A slip- pery wife. چکني سپاري chiknī supārī, s. f. A kind of betel-nut prepared by boiling. چکني صورت chiknī ṣūrat, Prosperous, affluent, flourishing. چکني مٿي chiknī-miṭṭī (चिक्कणमृत्तिका) s. f. Clay.

چچنڐا chichinḍā H s. m. The name of a vege- table. (Beta vulgaris).

چوهڙا chūhṛā H s. m. A Hindū sweeper. See حلال خور ḥalāl-ḵẖor.

چت चित्त chit S or chitt, s. m. Mind, life, soul, heart, memory. چت چاي chit-chāʼe, Pleasing to the mind, satisfactory, what the heart desires. چت چور (चित्तचोर) chit-chor, Heart-stealer, heart-stealing, or -alluring. چت دينا chit-denā, To pay attention. چت کرنا chit kar- nā, To make up oneʼs mind. چت لانا chit lānā, v. n. To be attentive, to be attached, to apply to. چت لگن (चित्तलग्न) chit-lagan, adj. Amusing, pleasant.

چمڙانا chimṛā-nā H v. n. To toughen, to grow tough.

چڙي chiṛī S̱. s. f. (fem. of چڙا) A hen-sparrow.
