جهکانا jhukānā H (caus. of جهکنا jhuknā) v. a. 1. To cause to stoop, to tilt, bend downwards, to bow, incline. 2. To nod or make nod.

Ba- nishment, expulsion from oneʼs native land. جلاوطن کرنا jilā-wat̤an karnā, To abandon oneʼs country, to exile. جلاوطن هونا jilā-wat̤an honā, To emigrate or abandon oneʼs country, to be exiled.

جهڙنا jhaṛnā H v. n. To fall off (as, fruit from the tree), to be swept off, to shed, to emit, to drop, to fall, to pour, to shake, to strain, to be sound- ed (the نوبت), to be discharged (a volley).
