مـﮩانا muhānā S̱. (from منـﮩ muṅh) s. m. The mouth (of a river, &c.), inlet, outlet.

مـﮩتدي muhtadī A (part. act. VIII. of هدي Heb. ) adj. Directed, guided, steered (to the right or left).

مـﮩتمم muhtamim A (rather مـﮩتم muhtamm, part. act. VIII. of همّ) Taking on oneʼs self the concerns of others; (subst.) Commissioner, agent, trustee, inspector, superintendent.

مـﮩتول muhtawil A (part. act. VIII. of هول Heb. ) adj. Terrified, trembling.

Exercise or practice of friendship. 2. (Sans. मिहिर) s. m. The sun. 3. The name of a Persian month, in which falls the au- tumnal equinox.

مـﮩري muhrī P. 1. (corrupt. of موري) s. f. A drain, a gutter, aqueduct, conduit. 2. (from مـﮩر muhr) adj. Sealed. 3. mihr-ī, s. f. (1. in compos.) Friendship. (2.) A kind of guitar or harp.
