بم bam S (वम्) An interjection addressed to Siva (much used by pilgrims to the temple of Baij- nāth or Vaidyanāth). A.P. بم bam, s. f. 1. The bass part in musick. 2. A bass or lowest string, or drum having the deepest tone. 3. Deep sound (as that of the large pipes of an organ, or of a drum).
