سل sill A (from سلّ Heb. To extract, to take away, to plunder: in the passive, To have a consumption) s. m. A consumption, a hectick fever.

سل بٿه sil-baṭṭa S̱. (शिला A stone, and पट्ट A stone for grinding on with a muller, &c.). s. m. Two stones with which spices, paint, &c. are ground.

سلانا silānā S̱. (causal of سينا sīnā, q. v.) v. a. To cause to sew or stitch.

سلاٴي silāʼī S̱. (from سينا sīnā, q. v.) s. f. 1. The price of sewing. 2. Seam, sewing.
