ساجهي sājhī सहाय S̱. s. m. A partner, as- sociate.

سالنا sālnā S̱. (from शल्य) 1. v. a. To penetrate, to perforate, bore, prick, pierce, drill. 2. v. n. To ache, be in pain, to smart.

سندهيا संध्या sandhyā S s. f. 1. Twilight, either in the evening or morning. 2. A period of time, forenoon, afternoon or midday. 3. Religious abstraction, meditation, repetition of mantras, sipping water, &c. to be performed by the three first classes of Hindūs at particular and stated periods in the course of every day, especially at sunrise, sunset, and also, though less essentially, at noon.
