آب چشم āb-i-chashm P s. Water of the eyes; tears.

آب چشي āb-chashī P s. f. The giving drink to a child for the first time (generally when about six months old) preparatory to weaning.

Bodi- less, because this deity was reduced to ashes by the eye of Siva for having disturbed his devo- tions, and rendered him enamoured of Pārvatī) an-ang, s. m. Kāma, the Hindū god of love.

آنچ ānch H s. f. Heat, flame of a fire (not of a candle), blaze, glare.

آنچر ānchar S̱. (अंचल) s. m. The end or bor- der of a cloth, veil, shawl, &c.

آنچل ānchal S̱. (अंचल) s. m. 1. See انچرا anchrā. 2. The breast (of a woman or lactescent animal).

آچار āchār H s. m. Pickles.

آچار आचार āchār S (improp. achār) s. m. Established rule of conduct, custom, practice, institute, religious observance.

آچاري आचारी āchārī S adj. Practising (what is good), strict in the observance of reli- gious ceremonies.

آچاریه आचार्य्य ā-chārya S s. m. A spiritual preceptor or a teacher in matters of religion.
