انچانا unchānā S̱. (from اونچا q. v.) v. a. To raise, to take up.

اچانا achānā S̱. (आ and r. चम Eat, drink) v. a. To rinse the mouth after eating.

اچانا uchānā S̱. (उत् and r. चि Gather) v. a. To lift up a burden.

بچانا bachānā H v. a. 1. (trans. of بچنا) To save, to preserve, to protect, secure, to reserve, extricate, to spare, to defend, to guard, to leave, to avoid, to conceal. 2. (Perhaps, for بجانا q. v.) To sound (a musical instrument).

تچانا tachānā H v. a. To parch, to scorch.

رچانا rachānā S̱. (caus. of رچنا) v. a. 1. To set to work, to set a going. 2. To make, to do. 3. To make merry. 4. To stain the hands, feet, &c. with ḥinnā, &c. 5. To celebrate.

سکچانا sukchānā S̱. or sakuchānā or sukuchānā (संकोचन) v. n. To be abashed, to be afraid. v. a. To abash.

للچانا lalchānā H v. n. To be tantalized, to long. v. a. To excite desire, to tantalize, to covet.

لچ لچانا lachlachānā H v. n. 1. To be clammy, or glutinous. 2. To be elastick.

لچانا lachānā H v. a. To bend, bow, crook.

مچانا machānā H (caus. of مچنا) v. a. To make, to cause, to stir up, excite, commit, perpetrate, to produce.

مچمچانا machmachānā H v. n. To creak (as, a bedstead or other thing heavily laden). See مچکنا machaknā.

نچانا nachānā S̱. (causal of ناچنا) v. a. To make to dance.

نگچانا nagchānā S̱. (perhaps, from निकट Near) v. n. To approach.
