جوانامرگ jawānā-marg P s. f. Death in the bloom of youth, untimely death. جوانامرگ مرنا jawānā-marg marnā, To die prematurely.

مرکب murakkab A (part. pass. II. of رکب Heb. ) adj. Compounded, compound, composed, combined, mixed; subst. Ink. Plur. مرکبات murakkabāt, Compounds (in medicine), things compounded, not simple. ¶ markab (noun of place from رکب) s. m. A horse, ship, camel, vehicle, any thing on which a person is carried.

مرکت मरकत markat S s. m. An emerald.

مرکر mar-kar (lit. S̱. having died) adv. With dif- ficulty.

مرکز markaz A (noun of place from رکز) s. m. 1. A centre, the centre of a circle. 2. An upper stroke of a letter; as, کاف کا مرکز.

مرکهاها mar-khāhā S̱. adj. Addicted to beating, striking or butting (a man or animal). S̱. H. مرکهپنا mar-khapnā, v. n. To die.

مرکهنا markhanā S̱. adj. See مرکهاها mar-khāhā.

مرکوز markūz A (part. pass. of رکز) adj. 1. Fixed. 2. Hid, concealed. 3. Comprehended, concentred. 4. (subst.) Wish, desire, design.

مرکونڐي murkūṅḍī H or muṛkūṅḍī (dakh. i. q. اوندهي منڐي) Head downwards, head reversed(?). مرکونڐي مارنا murkūṅḍī mārnā, v. (dakh.) To take to the bed, to be confined to bed or to be bedrid.

مرکي murkī H s. f. 1. An ornament worn in the ear. 2. The tragus of the ear.
