الگانا algānā S̱. (from الگا) v. a. To separate, dis- join, to put on one side.

لگانا lagānā S̱. (causal of لگنا) v. a. To apply, to close, to attach, to join, to fix, affix, ascribe, impose, lay, to add, to place, to put, to plant, to set, to inflict, to shut, to spread, to fasten, to connect, to plaster, to put to work, to em- ploy, to engage, to use, to impute, to report any thing in the way of scandal or malice. لگانا بجهانا lagānā bujhānā, To excite quarrels. لگا لينا lagā-lenā, To attach to oneʼs self, to conciliate, to win. لگا مارنا lagā mārnā, To ca- lumniate.

لگاو lagāʼo S̱. (from لگنا) s. m. Application, connexion, contact, adherence, symmetry, series, relation, intercourse. ¶ lagāʼū, adj. (dakh.) in compos. Applier, attacher.

لگاوٿ lagāwaṭ S̱. s. f. Connexion, application.

هلگانا hilgānā H (causal of هلگنا hilagnā) v. a. To hang, to suspend.
