ان شا الله تعالي in shā allāhu taāﻌlạ A God willing, if God pleases, please God.

آجانا ā-jānā S̱. (آنا and جانا q. v.) v. n. 1. To come suddenly, befall, happen. 2. To come.

اطاعت it̤āʼaﻌt A (inf. iv. of طوع) s. f. Obeying, obedience, submission, obsequiousness, observ- ance, reverence, worshipping. اطاعت کرنا it̤āʼaﻌt karnā, To obey.

اکرام ikrām A (inf. iv. of کرم) s. m. Honouring, complimenting, treating with attention and ce- remony, veneration, respect.

اٿبات is̤bāt A (inf. iv. of ٿبت Heb. To be fixed) s. Confirmation, proof, affirmation, as- certainment, certain knowledge. (The gender of this word in Hindī depends on that of the ob- ject; as, اٿبات مدعيٰ کیا is̤bāt-i-muddaāﻌ kiyā, اٿبات تقریرکي is̤bāt-i-taḳrīr kī): (Hunter).

آگي āge S̱. (अग्रे agre) adv. Before, in front, fore, beyond, more, ago, already, formerly, for- wards, farther, onward, henceforward, along; in what is before or to be done, then, hence, rather, sooner. آگي آنا āge ānā, v. n. 1. To come forward, to advance. 2. To return, to re- vert. آگي دهرلینا āge dhar lenā, To get be- fore, to outstrip, to surpass, to pass (as a horse in a race). آگي لانا āge lānā, To advance (ac- tively), to bring forward.

اگواني agwānī अग्रगामी S̱. s. m. A guide, harbinger. See اگوا agwā.

ابریشمي abreshm-ī P adj. Silken, of silk.

الهیا alhaiyā H s. f. Name of a rāginī.

ابشیک abishek S̱. (अभिषेक from अभि and r. सिच Sprinkle) s. m. Bathing, baptizing, sprinkling with the water of the Ganges, initiation, royal unction; purification by means of sprinkling water and pronouncing certain prayers.
