لگانا lagānā : لگانا lagānā S̱. (causal of لگنا) v. a. To apply, to close, to attach, to join, to fix, affix, ascribe, impose, lay, to add, to place, to put, to plant, to set, to inflict, to shut, to spread, to fasten, to connect, to plaster, to put to work, to em- ploy, to engage, to use, to impute, to report any thing in the way of scandal or malice. لگانا بجهانا lagānā bujhānā, To excite quarrels. لگا لينا lagā-lenā, To attach to oneʼs self, to conciliate, to win. لگا مارنا lagā mārnā, To ca- lumniate.
