استعجال istiﻌjāl A (inf. x. of عجل) s. m. Wishing to make haste, ordering one to make haste, hastening, accelerating, despatch.

اعجاز iﻌjāz A (inf. iv. of عجز) s. m. Disappoint- ment; miracle, wonder, astonishment, amaze- ment, surprise. اعجاز مسیحائي iﻌjāz-i-masīḥā-ī, A cure as miraculous as the cures of the Mes- siah, a miraculous cure.

بوالعجب bu-l-aﻌjab A (بو Endowed with, and عجب Wonder) adj. Wonderful.

تعجب taʼaﻌjjub A (inf. v. of عجب) s. m. Won- dering, admiration, astonishment, wonder, amaze, surprise. تعجب کرنا taʼaﻌjjub karnā, To won- der, admire.

عجايب aﻌjāʼịb A s. plur. (of عجيب) Wonders, curiosities. adj. Wonderful. عجايب ما̃ل aﻌjāʼịb- maʼāl, adj. Wonderful. عجايب وغرايب aﻌjāʼịb-o-g̠ẖarāʼịb, Wonders, curiosities, wonderful and strange things.

عجب aﻌjab A (Heb. ) s. m. Wonder, admi- ration, astonishment; adj. Wonderful, astonishing, amazing, miraculous, rare, strange, droll, &c. ¶ uﻌjb, s. m. Pride, haughtiness. عجب کرنا aﻌjab karnā, To be astonished, to wonder.
