آسوده āsūda P adj. At rest, quiet, tranquil, glutted, satiated, satisfied, at ease, contented. آسوده حال āsūda-ḥāl, Full, at ease, affluent, in easy circumstances, comfortable, &c. Plur. آسودگان āsūdagān, Those at rest or ease, the quiet. H. A. اسوقت is-waḳt, This time, now. H. A. اسوقت us-waḳt, That time, then.

سودهرم स्वधर्म स्व Own, and धर्म Duty swa-dharma S. s. m. Peculiar duty or occupation (as, praying, of a Brāhmaṇ; fighting, of a soldier, &c.).

سودهنا sodhnā शोधन S̱. v. a. 1. To pay, to discharge (a debt), to liquidate. 2. To collate. 3. To refine metals.

سودي sūd-ī P adj. (Money) borrowed at interest, (money) at interest. S̱. H. سوڐول sū-ḍaul, adj. Well-shaped, graceful.

فرسوده farsūda P part. pass. (of فرسودن) Worn, torn, spoiled by age, obliterated.

مدهـ سودن मधुसूदन madhu-sūdan S A name of Kr̤ish̤ṇa, who slew a demon named Madhu.

مسوده musauwada A (part. pass. II. of سود Heb. and Chald. ) s. m. A sketch or rough draught of a letter, &c., the foul or first copy of any writing.
