تنازل tanāzul A (inf. vi. of نزل) s. m. 1. Des- cent, decline (falling of price, losing rank, &c.). 2. Leaping from a horse in order to fight.

تنزل tanazzul A (inf. v. of نزل) s. m. Descent, declining slowly, diminution; condescending. تنزل کرنا tanazzul karnā, To descend.

زلازل zalāzil A s. plur. (of زلزله) Earthquakes, tremblings.

زلال zulāl A (from زلّ) adj. Pure, limpid, whole- some (water); s. m. Water of that quality.

زلزله zalzala A (from زلزل) s. m. An earthquake.

زلف zulf P s. f. A curling lock, a ringlet, whisker. زلف پريشان zulf-i-pareshān, Dishevelled locks. زلف تابدار zulf-i-tāb-dār, Curling locks. زلف دراز zulf-i-darāz, Long locks. زلف عنبرين zulf- i-aﻌmbarīn, Perfumed (with ambergris) locks.

زلفي zulf-ī P. s. m. 1. A swordknot. 2. The chain by which a door is fastened.

زلل zalal A s. m. 1. Erring, blundering. 2. Stumbling, falling. 3. Deficiency, loss.
