تخصيص taḵẖṣīṣ A (inf. ii. of خّص) s. f. Particu- larity, peculiarity, appropriation, reserving for oneʼs self.

خصلت ḵẖaṣlat A s. f. 1. Habit, custom. 2. Quality, property, mode, talent, virtue, disposi- tion, nature. (Plur. خصال or خصايل).

خصم ḵẖaṣm A s. m. 1. An enemy, antagonist. 2. ¶ ḵẖaṣam, A husband. خصم والي ḵẖaṣam-wālī, adj. f. A woman whose husband is alive. A. P. خصمانه ḵẖaṣm-āna, adv. Like a good hus- band, economically, with attention to domestick affairs.

خصور ḵẖuṣūr A s. plur. (of خصر) Middles of men, waists.

خصوص ḵẖuṣūṣ A (from خصّ see خاص) s. m. 1. An affair, business, thing, particular. 2. Doing any thing particular. 3. adv. Particularly.

خصوصا ḵẖuṣūṣaṉ A adv. Particularly, especially.

خصوصيت ḵẖuṣūṣiyat A s. f. Peculiarity, parti- cularity, singularity, attachment, friendship.

خصومت ḵẖuṣūmat A (from خصم) s. f. Enmity, quarrelling, contention, strife.

خصي ḵẖaṣī A s. m. A castrated animal (par- ticularly a goat), an eunuch. خصي کرنا ḵẖaṣī karnā, To geld, castrate.

خصيه ḵẖuṣya A s. m. Testicle.

شخصيت shaḵẖṣīyat A s. f. Nobility, rank, hu- manity.

مخصور maḵẖṣūr A (part. pass. of خصر Heb. ) adj. Injured, damaged.

مخصوص maḵẖṣūṣ A (part. pass. of خصّ) adj. Pe- culiar, especial, particular, private, rendered pe- culiar. مخصوص کرنا maḵẖṣūṣ karnā, To appro- priate, distinguish peculiarly, ascribe, impute, devote.
