خضاب ḵẖiẓāb A (from خضب) s. m. 1. Tinc- ture. 2. Tinging the nails and hair, but par- ticularly the beard. خضاب آهني کرنا ḵẖiẓāb-i-āhanī karnā, To shave the beard.

خادم ḵẖādim A part. act. (from خدمت) used substantively, A servant. خادم لطلبا ḵẖādimu-t̤- t̤ulabā, A public teacher, a professor (of a col- lege). خادم درگاه ḵẖādim-i-dargāh, A servant who takes care of a tomb, mosque, &c. (Pers. plur. خادمان ḵẖādimān).

خرج ḵẖarj A s. m. Expenditure, spending, disbursement, expense, price, outgoing. (Plur. اخراجات). خرچ اخراجات ḵẖarch iḵẖrājāt, Expenditure. خرچ کرنا ḵẖarch karnā, To expend, disburse, spend. خرچ کودينا ḵẖarch ko denā (dakh. i. q. مارنا) To kill (?). خرچ هونا ḵẖarch honā, To be expended.
