استاچل अस्ताचल astāchal S s. m. The name of a mountain in the west, behind which the sun is supposed to set.

الاچي ilāchī एला S̱. s. f. Cardamums.

اچل अचल a-chal S adj. Immovable, incapa- ble of motion; s. m. A mountain, an aged person. نیل اچل nīl achal, The blue mountain near Balasore.

اچلا अचला achalā S s. f. The earth.

اچلانا uchlānā S̱. (from اچلنا) v. a. To order a person to separate (one thing from another). S̱. اچلنا (उत् and r. चल Move) uchalnā, v. n. To separate, to be separated.

اچمیها achambhā H s. m. Wonderful thing, astonishment, cause of astonishment.

اچن a-chin S̱. (अ and चिन्ह A mark) adj. With- out note or consequence.

اچنت a-chint S̱. (अ and चिन्ता Thought) adj. Thoughtless.

اچنچل अ and चंचल Moving a-chanchal S. adj. Fixed, unmoved, firm, inactive.

اچها achchhā S̱. (अच्छ Clear, transparent) adj. Good, excellent, pleasant, righteous, healthy, well, sound, lucky. اچها کرنا achchhā karnā, To cure, recover. اچها لگنا achchhā lagnā, To be- come, beseem, please, be agreeable. اچها هونا achchhā honā, v. n. To recover.

اچها इच्छा ichchhā S s. f. Wish, desire. اچها بهوجن ichchhā bhojan, Desirable food, or food to the utmost desire.

اچهالنا uchhālnā S̱. (caus. of اچهلنا) v. a. To throw up, to toss up a thing (as a ball, &c.) and catch it in the hand. H. اچهان (अ and چهان Strain) a-chhān, adj. Not strained, impure.

اچهاه uchchhāh H s. m. Joy, gladness.

اچهت achhat H part. pres. Remaining, existing, continuing. H.S̱. اچهتانا پچهتانا achhtānā pachhtānā (see پچهتانا) v. n. To repent, to grieve, to be sorry.
