ادینه adīna P or ādīna, s. Friday. S̱. اڐول (अ and r. दुल Throw up) a-ḍol, adj. Immovable, unshaken.

اعتبار iﻌtibār A (inf. viii. of عبر Heb. and Ch. He passed over) s. m. 1. Confidence, trust, faith, belief, credit, reliance, respect, esteem. 2. Taking as an example, reasoning by compa- rison. اعتبار رکهنا iﻌtibār rakhnā, To give credit to, to believe, to trust.

انبساط imbisāt̤ A (inf. vii. of بسط) s. f. Gladness, joy, delight, cheerfulness, recreation, mirth.

ارشد arshad A adj. compar. (of رشید) Most up- right, most tenacious of the right way; a person who explains orders, commands, &c. (especially, of the deity).

اکلنا ukalnā S̱. (उत् and r. कल Cast) v. n. To boil. S. اکلوني अकुलिनी (from अ and कुल Family) akulinī, adj. f. Not of good family, ignoble, base (woman).

اٿپٿانگي aṭpaṭāngī H adj. Inconsiderate, irregu- lar, unstudied, thoughtless.

اچتنا uchaṭnā S̱. (उत् and r. चट Separate, break) v. n. To separate; to be separated (as plaster from a wall); to slip, slide, rebound (as a sword striking a hard body obliquely); to be broken or interrupted (sleep).

آوازه āwāza P s. m. Report, fame, rumour, conversation, talking aloud.

ايمان īmān A (inf. iv. of امن Heb. Trusted, was secure) s. m. Faith, belief, religion, conscience, credit. ايمان دار īmān-dār, Faithful, conscientious, honest, trusty, believer. ايمان داري īmān-dār-ī, s. f. Faithfulness, conscien- tiousness, honesty, fidelity, trustiness. A. P. ايماني īmān-ī, adj. Of the faith.
