جله julah P s. m. 1. A weaver, of the Mu- hammadan religion. 2. (met.) A fool, a blockhead. جلاه ڐاڙهي julāh-ḍāṛhī, s. f. A short round beard, such as julāhs usually wear. S̱.H. جل بل jal-bal (from جلنا and بلنا) part. Burnt up or consumed with fire. See جلابلا.

جهلگا jhilgā H 1. s. m. The netted bottom of a bed or couch when worn out and separated. 2. adj. A couch or bed is said to be جهلگا jhilgā, when the bottom is worn out or broken.

جوشش joshish P (from جوشيدن) s. f. 1. Heat, ebullition. 2. Violent desire, emotion, fervour.

جذبه jaẕba A s. m. 1. Passion, rage, fury. 2. Violent desire. See, also, جذب jaẕb.

ججهـ jujh युद्ध S̱. s. m. An engagement, a battle.

جوڙي jūṛī S̱. (from जड Cold) s. f. An ague.

جيٿهي مدهـ jeṭhī-madh यष्टीमधु S̱. s. m. Li- quorice (Glycirrhiza glabra).

جانکڙ jāṅkaṛ H s. m. Money (or other pledge) left for a thing purchased, while it is carried away to be finally approved.

جدشٿر judishṭar S̱. (Sans. युधिष्ठिर yudhish̤ṭhira) n. prop. Name of an ancient sovereign of India, son of Rājā Pānḍu.
