جوسي josī S̱. or joshī (ज्यौतिषी) s. m. An astrologer, an astronomer.

جواسا jawāsā यवास S̱. s. m. A prickly bush of which ṭaṭṭīs are made. (Hedysarum alhagi).

جـﮩنمي jahannam-ī A adj. Hellish, infernal, be- longing to hell.

جهگڙا jhagṛā H s. m. Wrangling, quarrelling, contention, quarrel, squabble, strife. جهگڙا پکڙنا jhagṛā-pakaṛnā, To engage in anotherʼs quarrel. جهگڙا رگڙا jhagṛā ragṛā, s. m. Squabbling and wrangling, brawl, squabble.

جير jer H s. The membrane in which the fœtus is enveloped, the afterbirth, secundines.

جوکهم jokhim H s. f. Risk, venture, peril, danger, achievement, enterprise. جوکهم اٿهانا jokhim uṭhānā, To run the hazard, to venture, to risk.

جهنـﮩڐا jhin-haḍḍā S̱. (from क्षीण Thin, slight, and हड्ड Bone) adj. Rawboned.

جناٴي janāʼī S̱. (from جنانا) s. f. A midwife.
