جهگڙالن jhagṛā-lin H f. adj. Quarrelsome, wrangling, disputatious, contentious; a brawler, an arguer.

To criticise mi- nutely. جيبهـ جهکانا jībh jhukānā, To pretend to wealth falsely. جيبهـ چاٿنا jībh chāṭnā, To long after or covet unattainable enjoyment. جيبهـ چلانا jībh chalānā, To boast beyond oneʼs abi- lity. جيبهـ دابکي بات کـﮩنا jībh dābke bāt kahnā, To speak with reserve. جيبهـ کاٿنا jībh kāṭnā, 1. To forbid by signs. 2. (from the Persian) To grant the request of a petitioner. 3. To be struck with terrour or astonishment. جيبهـ نکالنا jībh nikālnā, To be extremely fatigued or thirsty.

جهوم jhūm H s. m. 1. Abundance of foliage. 2. Waving, undulating. جهوم جهوم jhūm jhūm, Gathering of the clouds.

جيوڙا jeʼoṛā H s. m. Cord, string.

جوالامکهـ jwālā-mukh S̱. (from ज्वालामुखी A title of the goddess Devī) s. f. A volcano.

جکهـ jakh यक्ष S̱. s. m. A demi-god, attendant especially on Kuvera, and employed in the care of his gardens and treasures. See جک.

جڙوانا jaṛwānā S̱. (caus. of جڙنا jaṛnā) v. a. To cause to set with jewels.

جهٿنا jhaṭnā H v. n. (dakh.) 1. To become thin or lean, to diminish. 2. (i. q. مناظره کرنا) To dispute.
