ٿـﮩنا ṭahanā H s. m. A branch or large bough of a tree.

ٿکنا ṭiknā H v. n. To stop, to remain in any place, to be detained, to lodge, stay, tarry.

ٿهونٿها ṭhūnṭh-ā H adj. 1. Having the hand ampu- tated. 2. Having its branches lopped and leaf- less (a tree).

ٿٿيـﮩري ṭaṭīhrī S̱. s. f. 1. (टिट्टिभ) A sand- piper (Tringa goensis). ٿٿيـﮩري سي آسمان تهاما جاٴيگا ṭaṭīhrī se āsmān thāmā jāʼegā? Will the sky be supported by the sandpiper? Applied to a person who undertakes an enterprise far above his strength. (This bird being said to sleep with its legs extended upwards, as if to prop the firmament). 2. A kind of rattle.

ٿنٿا ṭanṭā H s. m. Wrangling, altercation, squab- ble, strife.

ٿبهانا ṭibhānā H v. a. To give a small daily al- lowance, such as merely to save one from starving.

ٿهـﮩ‍رانا ṭhahrānā H (caus. of ٿهـﮩ‍رنا) v. a. To fix, stop, determine, appropriate, settle, to ascertain, appoint, fix on, to demonstrate, to prove, to conclude or consider, ascribe.

ٿهريا ṭhariyā H s. m. A kind of earthen ḥuḳḳa.

ٿهونٿهـ ṭhonṭh त्रोटि S̱. s. f. Beak, bill (of a bird).

ٿهرا ṭharrā H s. f. 1. A kind of wine or spiri- tuous liquor. 2. A kind of shoe worn by vil- lagers.
