ٿوپ ṭop H s. m. 1. A hat, cap, helmet, head, cover, thimble. 2. Bait. 3. A stitch.

ٿکنا ṭiknā H v. n. To stop, to remain in any place, to be detained, to lodge, stay, tarry.

ٿهيرنا ṭhairnā H v. n. To stay, stand, &c.: see ٿهـﮩرنا ṭhaharnā.

ٿينٿا ṭenṭā H s. m. 1. A large ripe fruit of karīl. 2. A fizgig. 3. Speaking inconsiderately.

ٿهٿهکنا ṭhaṭhaknā H or ṭhiṭhaknā, v. n. To stop, to stagnate, to stand amazed, to draw back in sur- prise, to shrink, to boggle.

ٿير ṭer H s. f. 1. Tune. 2. Voice, call.

ٿرانا ṭarrānā S̱. (from टट्टरी) v. a. To chatter.

ٿـﮩٿـﮩـ ṭahṭah H s. m. Beauty, freshness or splendour, conspicuous at a distance.

ٿانک ṭānk टंक S̱. s. m. A weight equal to four māshas. (See under تولا tolā).

ٿٿيـﮩرا ṭaṭīhrā S̱. s. m. 1. (टिट्टिभ) A sand- piper (Tringa goensis). ٿٿيـﮩري سي آسمان تهاما جاٴيگا ṭaṭīhrī se āsmān thāmā jāʼegā? Will the sky be supported by the sandpiper? Applied to a person who undertakes an enterprise far above his strength. (This bird being said to sleep with its legs extended upwards, as if to prop the firmament). 2. A kind of rattle.
