ٿير ṭīr H s. f. A transverse piece in cloths, or a breadth cut diagonally.

ٿهيپ ṭhīp H s. f. A kind of lamp.

ٿانڐا ṭānḍā H s. m. 1. A venture (of goods). 2. Name of a place. 3. The goods of a banjārā.

ٿنگار ṭungār H s. f. Pecking, nibbling of fruit, &c. more for amusement than from appetite. H. S̱. ٿنگ جانا ṭang jānā, v. n. To be hung, to be suspended.

ٿٿ پونجيا ṭaṭ-pūnjī-ā S̱. adj. Bankrupt, or re- duced in circumstances (a merchant).

ٿانکي ṭānkī टंक S̱. s. f. A chisel.

ٿنانا ṭanānā तनन S̱. v. a. To extend, to stretch. See تاننا tānnā.

ٿهٿهراهٿ ṭhiṭhrāhaṭ H (from ٿهٿهرنا) s. f. Numb- edness, torpor, torpidness.

ٿپا ṭappā H s. m. 1. The postoffice. 2. The name of a mode in musick. 3. The bound of a ball, &c. 4. A sort of hook. 5. A jump, a bound. ٿپا مارنا ṭappā-mārnā, 1. To sew or stitch with intervals. 2. To read in a desultory manner. ٿپا کهانا ṭappā khānā, To bound or ricochet (a shot).
