تياگي त्यागी tyāg-ī S s. m. Abandoner, relin- quisher, forsaker, abdicator; but chiefly applied to the religious ascetick or him who abandons terrestrial objects, thoughts, passions, &c.

تطبيق tat̤bīḳ A (inf. ii. of طبق) s. f. 1. Com- paring, likening. 2. Drawing up in line, or making to confront (as, two armies).

تفول tafauwul A (inf. v. of فال) s. m. Taking an omen (especially a good one from the word of another).

تکبر takabbur A (inf. v. of کبر) s. m. Arrogance, haughtiness, pride. A. H. تکبري takabbur-ī, s. f. Haughtiness.

تمثيل tams̤īl A (inf. ii. of مثل) s. f. 1. Comparison, similitude. 2. Allegory, parable, apologue, an example, a counterpart or duplicate, a fac simile. (Plur. تمثيلات tams̤īlāt). تمثيل لانا tams̤īl lānā, To allegorize.

تفخر tafaḵẖḵẖur A (inf. v. of فخر) s. m. Pride, boasting, arrogance.
