تارا तारा tārā S s. m. 1. A star. 2. The ap- ple of the eye. 3. n. pr. The name of the wife of Rājā Bali. تاري توڙنا tāre toṛnā (dakh. i. q. مکرکرنا) To practise deceit. تاري گننا tāre ginnā, To count the stars, i. e. to get no sleep. تارامنڐل tārā-manḍal, The starry sphere.

تکهرا کرنا tikhrā karnā S̱. v. a. To trifallow, to plough three times.

تنانا tannānā H v. n. 1. To twang. 2. To have a sharp pricking pain from inflammation.

تاڙنا tāṛnā S (ताडना) (r. तड Beat) s. m. Punishment, admo- nition, reproof, penalty. تاڙناکرنا tāṛnā karnā, To reprove, punish, chastise.

تفکه tafakkuh A (inf. v. of فکه) s. m. 1. Admiring. 2. Penitence. 3. Enjoyment of any thing. (Plur. تفکـﮩ‍ات).

تراست त्रासित trāsit S adj. Afraid.

تگاٴي tagāʼī H (from تگانا) s. f. 1. The price paid for quilting, &c. 2. The act of quilting.
